The city also boasts the remains of the Great Library, the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, and a preserved Roman and Greek Theater. (Alexandria is just a 2.5-hour drive from Cairo, or a short 1-hour flight.)

RED SEA COAST
The Red Sea coast is a haven for divers, beach lovers, and water sports enthusiasts, offering clear waters, vibrant coral reefs, and world-class resorts. Popular destinations like Sharm El Sheikh, Hurghada, and Gouna provide everything from luxury resorts to thrilling underwater exploration, while Dahab offers a more laid-back experience.
